In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, and sugar. Add 1 cup of the warm water and stir until a dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C).

Punch down the dough and divide it into two equal parts. Roll out each part into a 12-inch circle.

Place the dough circles on a lightly oiled pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust isolden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
